Aluminized steel is carbon steel coated, through the hot-dip process, with an aluminum-silicon alloy. The aluminum coating provides resistance to high temperatures and a bright appearance. The silicon promotes better adherence of the coating to the base metal.
Aluminum silicon sheet and coil will maintain their bright appearance and provide long-term service at temperatures up to 900 degrees – a higher temperature than comparable zinc-coated products can withstand.
1. High temperature resistance: Excellent resistance with iron aluminum alloy layer. High reflectivity guaranteed at 450℃.
2. Thermal reflectivity: Reflects 90% of incident heat at 480℃, acting as an efficient heat insulation barrier.
3. Mechanical strength: At 480℃, strength is 10 times that of pure aluminum plate, allowing 30% reduction in thickness.
4. Corrosion resistance: Al2O3 protective layer passivates the surface immediately.
5. Ecological: Safe for food processing and harmless to the human body. Price is approximately 1/3 of stainless steel.
