✅ System pressure acts on the disc from the inlet side.
✅ Pre-compressed spring keeps the disc tightly sealed under normal operation.
✅ When pressure reaches the set point, upward force overcomes spring force and the disc pops open instantly for rapid release.
✅ As pressure drops, the spring restores the disc for a leak-free seal.
