Product Description
Vacuum Insulation Panel (VIP)

VIPs are thin pieces of insulation that are uniquely designed to take up very little space. They are built with layers of porous core materials encased in a gas-tight foil outer material. Once this envelope is sealed, outside gases won't be able to enter the panel and the vacuum will create thermal resistance that is up to 20x more effective than traditional insulation.

Key Features & Benefits

VIP insulation offers many benefits to designers. In new build projects, it enables minimal thresholds while maintaining U-values. The product allows for thinner construction build-ups, reducing costs and providing design flexibility.

Typical Lambda Values Comparison:
• Fibreglass: 0.040 W/mK
• EPS: 0.038 W/mK
• PIR: 0.022 W/mK
VIP: 0.006 W/mK (Core)

Frequently Asked Questions
How does a vacuum slow down heat transfer?
By removing air molecules, we eliminate conduction (molecule-to-molecule heat flow) and convection (heat transfer by moving air). In a vacuum, there are far fewer molecules to carry heat, making the insulation highly efficient.
Can VIP panels be cut or punctured on-site?
No. The high barrier film must remain intact. If punctured, air flows in and thermal conductivity increases significantly. Panels must be ordered to the correct size or integrated without damaging the vacuum seal.
What is the temperature limit for VIP panels?
While the core can sustain up to 900°C, the outer barrier film is generally rated up to 80°C. Permanent exposure to temperatures above 40°C-50°C may reduce the life of the vacuum seal.
Are these panels sensitive to humidity?
Short-term exposure is fine, but long-term high humidity (especially with high heat) should be avoided. We recommend installing humidity barriers to keep the panels dry.
What is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
Our standard MOQ is 500 square meters. However, we support smaller orders for clients who are growing or starting new projects.
How is quality controlled during production?
We perform checks on raw materials, machine calibration before mass production, and continuous monitoring of thickness, weight, and dimensions during the manufacturing process.
