How does a vacuum slow down heat transfer?

By removing air molecules, we eliminate conduction and convection. In a vacuum, there are far fewer molecules to transfer kinetic energy, resulting in significantly lower heat flow.

Can VIP panels be cut or punctured on-site?

No. The gas-tight foil must remain intact. If punctured, air enters and the thermal conductivity rises. Panels must be ordered to size or integrated into constructions using specific covers.

What are the temperature limits for VIPs?

While the core can withstand up to 900°C, the outer plastic film is limited to 80°C. Permanent exposure above 50°C may increase vapor penetration, affecting the panel's lifespan.

Are vacuum panels sensitive to humidity?

Short-term exposure is fine, but long-term exposure to high humidity and high temperatures should be avoided. Humidity barriers are recommended for dry installation.

Can you produce curved vacuum panels?

Thin panels can be bent into cylindrical forms. Complex 2D curvatures are more difficult, but new technologies allow for more complex shapes and even panels with holes.

What is the MOQ and delivery time?

The standard MOQ is 500sqm. Delivery typically takes 5-10 days for stock items and 15-30 days for custom production depending on quantity.
