🔍 Product Description

Vacuum Insulated Panel (VIP) for Construction

VIPs are thin pieces of insulation that are uniquely designed to take up very little space. Built with layers of porous core materials encased in a gas-tight foil outer material, the vacuum creates thermal resistance that is up to 20x more effective than traditional insulation.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: How does a vacuum slow down heat transfer? A: By removing air molecules, we eliminate conduction (molecule to molecule heat flow) and convection (heat transfer by moving air). This significantly reduces the thermal energy movement.
Q2: Can I cut or puncture the vacuum insulation panels on site? A: No. The high barrier film must not be damaged. If punctured, air flows in and thermal conductivity rises significantly. They must be ordered to specific sizes.
Q3: Are vacuum panels sensitive to humidity? A: Short-term exposure is fine, but long-term exposure to high humidity and high temperatures should be avoided. Humidity barriers are recommended during installation.
Q4: What is the maximum operating temperature? A: While the core can sustain 900°C, the outer barrier film is limited to 80°C. For long-term performance, temperatures should ideally stay below 40°C-50°C.
Q5: Can I order curved vacuum insulation panels? A: Thin panels can be bent into cylindrical forms. However, complex 2D curvatures (like spheres) are more difficult. Specialized shapes with holes are possible upon request.
Q6: What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)? A: Our standard MOQ for production is 500 square meters.
